Overview

Clinical Evaluations allows for a complete round of evaluations for the student including self competency, preceptor and placement evaluation. In turn, preceptors review the student's self competency as well as complete a student evaluation. Administrators manage the entire process and run the reports.

As the evaluation process is completely done online, there is no need to spend hours at a copy machine producing evaluations, then disseminating them to all the necessary individuals. Students activate the entire process by completing a self-evaluation, naming a teacher and placement. From here, email notifications go out to the student and teacher to complete the necessary forms. Once the student self and the evaluation of the student by teacher is completed, the instructors can provide direct feedback on both evaluations by examining a comparison report. Some programs can take up to 4 years to complete, and in any given year students are registered in numerous courses and placements, many of which require evaluations to be completed.
